EA Sports Active More Workouts

I began to do EA Sports Active More Workouts on January 2, 2010 putting my whole heart into my workouts.
I had done my research on this workout for the Wii and decided that I would give it a try. I was hopeful but ready for disappointment too, after all it was a video game workout. So I put the leg strap on, I bought the off brand strap because it was half the price at GameStop. Maybe that wasn't the best idea because my legs are big and despite the writing on the box claiming its for adults it has to be for kids. I put it on anyway in hopes that when I lose weight that it will be more comfortable. I put in my game disk and began the set up. After the set up I select six week challenge. I know I can stick with this for six weeks. So I clicked on began workout #1 it asked me to step on the Wii Balance Board to weigh in. Really already I barely know you and you are asking me to tell you my weight. So I step on the board, 199.0 pounds, whoa I haven't weighed this much since my first daughter was born. Ok so the bad part is over or so I think. I set my goal earlier to 140.0 pounds. The workout begins, it starts with a warm up then starts the real fun. The game told me to put the leg strap on (oops already did that) then slip the nunchuk in the sleeve. So after following the directions and watching the tutorial I begin to run with my trainer. After about 5 or 6 seconds the leg strap starts to fall off me. dang I knew I should have bought the better one. So I stop the workout and put on shorts hoping that the strap on my skin would hold better, It did.  So back to the workout, I spent the next 25 minutes running, squatting and jumping rope, sweating my butt off the whole time. Whew what a workout, I guess this is more of a workout than my Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus. I forgot to add that I set mine to moderate. I have now been doing the EA Sports Active More Workouts for a little over a week, doing the workouts every other day except Sat and Sun which I do on both days. So my schedule for this workout is Sun, Tues, Thurs, Sat. You have to do four days on and three off a week for the six week challenge. Today January 11th I decided to weigh, and measure myself. I am happy to report I am 193.0 pounds. I  lost 6 pounds and lost a total of 7.25 inches in NINE DAYS. 1 inch off each thigh, 1 inch off my hips, 2.5 inch off my Abs and 1.75 inches off my waist. So there is something in EA Sports Active More Workouts that is working. I am excited and encouraged. I will continue to update my progress.
