I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. I weighed in at 191.0 which if you look at my last official weigh in it was 193.0 so over the week I lost 2 pounds. I think this has taught me a lesson, don't weigh yourself more than the once a week because your body fluctuates up and down 1-2lbs every day. Oh well. So on the measuring. I stayed the same as last week except I lost .50 in my right thigh and .25 in my waist.
I am glad today I don't HAVE to do a workout but I probably will walk today in my garage. I decided last night that my new step goal will be 15,000 which is about 7.5 miles. On the 23rd my steps were a little over 16k and last night the 24th they were a little over 15k. So I met that goal. My over all goal since I started was to lose about 2lbs a week which is about what I am averaging and to lose inches which I am. Since I started I have lost 10.5 inches and 8lbs measurement was taken on the 1st of this month.I did my #14 workout last night, I burned about 180 calories on it and according to my GoWear Fit it was accurate. I started my EA Sports Active More Workouts on the 2nd of January and so far I am impressed. It seems to work for me. So yesterday I burned 2915 calories, 20 minutes of vigorous and 118 minutes of moderate activity, and took 15344 steps. I only slept for 5hrs and 8 minutes which is 80%, I had a tough time going to sleep. So I am meeting all my goals except my calorie burn which I think I have set way too high, 3810. Its seems to be accurate because I have it set for me to lose 2lbs a week and thats what I have been doing.
So I guess I shouldn't be too disappointed with this weeks results, I did lose and didn't truly gain.
I know I am losing fat and not muscle because I am working out and doing strength training with my resistance bands. I plan to go back to the gym hoping for tomorrow but we will see.
For today I am getting ready for my dental appointment, ya know excessively brushing your teeth, big time flossing and using mouthwash. I am scared and not looking forward to this. Ok deep breath... whew .....
I will take new progress pictures on February 4th.
Advice of the day:
Don't weigh everyday, only once a week.
