totally slacking

on my blog and on my exercise. Yesterday was a rough day, I have low blood pressure (hypotension) yesterday it was dragging my energy down fast. running about 82/49 with a pulse rate of 65, and I was getting dizzy. Well I have been getting dizzy for a couple of days. I checked my blood glucose levels (used hubbys meter  he is diabetic not me) the level wasn't bad 71 which is still in the normal. I think below 70 is when you need to eat something with sugar.  I ate sugar some small piece of sugar, then I had a sugar free (yes I know that doesnt help glucose levels lol) rockstar to bring up my BP. I have trouble keeping my BP up these days. I dont like salt just a little salt and I swell up like a water balloon. So point is I did not want to exercise. I was so very tired.
I do plan on doing some boxing today then the gym tomorrow. I have to get going on this or I wont be looking very good this summer.  I have been eating lots of rice lately too its really helping me with upping my fiber ( wild rice), I added fresh mozzarella for calcium , walnuts for omega 3, fresh tomatoes for lycopene (inhibits heart disease) , and asparagus for fiber. Its an excellent combination of food. I will post a picture of it later.
So that is it. I am going to watch little women later and get in some serious steps in as well as a boxing workout out. My outlook for today is positive, I can conquer what ever I desire.

delayed post about mondays weigh and measure

I did weigh and measure on monday. I still weighed 186.5 so I went back down after vacation.
although today I was 186.0 :) I lost two inches over all. I am super excited about that. I am still boxing on my EA Sports Active More Workouts. I changed it up a bit though. I don't like the music on the game so I put my i-pod on and blast that music while I am boxing. I find that using fast paced music with a good beat I get an even better work out. I burn nearly 100 calories more just adding music, it causes me to get more in tune with the beat and work harder. I haven't made it back to the gym yet. I swear though I am going to go on Monday with or with out my husband. any way I need to go to sleep. I have been getting up like 20 times a night (GoWear Fit says so and I believe it I am up and down all night long) so I need more sleep. tomorrow I will try and go to bed by 9 instead of midnight.

sabotage

I know I know... its been a while since my last entry.

so I have been sabotaged by my own husband.. I don't know why he doesn't get it. You know I am unhappy like I am and I am trying to change. His solution. Donuts, burritos, candy, pizza what ever he can buy that no one should eat. I don't even want to weigh in tomorrow with all the crap I have been eating this week. I haven't been great about exercising either. I got side tracked on my cleaning out the storage closets in my house. Good thing came out of that though.. I gave away about 8 bags of clothes, toys and household products.  That's a ton of stuff. point of all this crap is I am responsible for allowing myself to sample too much and not move enough.
So as of probably Tuesday I will be going back to my gym and doing my EA Sports Active. I am still have my GoWear Fit on and its working very well. I will post more tomorrow.

ho hummmm

So I did weigh and measure today. where is the sad face when ya need one. I gained 1 pound from vacation. booo hisssss. and no change in measurements.  I think its the rice I am eating, too many carbs and my body doesn't handle sodium very well at all. I swell up every time I have salt. Not an excuse just thinking out loud. So there it is. Now that I have had my pity party lets move on.

I really do love that workout too. I love that it is fun, and really goes by so fast.
I wish my living room was larger so I could do my Squash better. Its hard to move back and forth in a small space. I love love love the boxing. I am considering taking up boxing this summer.

I am very ready to go back to the gym with my hubby. It will be easier to get my steps in with a treadmill.
Like I said last night I did over 20k steps but tonight I only did a little over 6k. Reason for that
I decided I would clean out my storage closets. Not sure that was a great idea. The whole bottom floor of my house looks like hell. So I have another full day of going through things.

Today I went through all the kids baby clothes. My poor hubby is lucky I had a hysterectomy because touching all those cute little baby clothes makes me want to have a little baby again. Kind of makes me sad that at 32 years old I can't have anymore kids even if I did want to. Oh well some things in life we really don't have control over. :(
It was funny going through some of the clothes though. I found I was wanting to keep clothes that don't fit me.
I really don't want to do that. I want to keep what fits and give away what doesn't. There are lots of people out there that need clothes and can't buy them. I am more than happy to give my things away to those less fortunate than I .  I am a lucky girl to be able to have the things I do and to be able to stay home with my children.
My kids are very important to me and my husband. I make sure I am very active in their school, and homework.  Right now we are talking with them about things that are good for your body. Eating the right things and being active. I want them to make good choices so when they are adults they will be healthy.
They even Box with me now. I love that. It's cute to have them do those things with me.


About my GoWear Fit, I still love it and its a great tool to have. Sometimes we need a reminder to be more active. Its doing its job of being my fitness conscience. Any one that needs that extra boost should get one.
 I have had no problems with it at all. The battery stays good forever. I just sync it in the morning and go about my day, and when it beeps at me to tell me I have met one of my goals I smile and know I am getting healthier.

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow:{ yikes so  I better get some sleep.

20,000+

I did over 20,000 steps today... and ouch I totally feel each and every one of them.
I didn't do any EA Sports Active More Workouts today. I did that yesterday and it was boxing for 42 minutes I burned over 400 calories in my living room.. Go me! Today I decided to challenge myself to 20k steps. I made it too, there at the end of it I didn't know if I would make it. At this present time I hate having to go up and down my stairs in the house because my legs are so sore. I am nervous about my weigh and measure tomorrow. First weigh and measure since vacation. Hope the tape measure and scale are kind. I also did a lot of double leg lifts. ouch ouch ouch.. my tummy is sore. I am hoping that when the kids go back to school next week I can finally go back to the gym. We do pay for it every month... probably should use it more often... lol....

Back and Just finished

We got back yesterday, exhausted but I still managed to do my #23 workout. Its so hard to get back in the groove even after less than a week gone. I did not meet my any of my goals on my GoWear Fit, but this trip was just a personal trip that was emotionally exhausting. Any way I didn't eat badly pretty much the whole trip. I did have one meal at On The Border, and one at Red Lobster. Aside from those two I had Subway which I will add I am so sick of Subway. Jared Fogal (I think thats how you spell it lol) is amazing, I know for a fact that could not eat Subway every day.. As it was I ate it enough on this short trip that I didn't want to eat food if it was at Subway. ANY WHERE BUT SUBWAY ..  So I am done with that trip. I am tired of being in my car. I am tired of hearing the GPS say recalculating. recalculating everytime we had to get fuel, eat lunch, stop to pee, get a hotel etc etc etc.  We did see lots of  Border Patrol as we were going along our route in Texas. Had to stop and answer are you American? Steve was tempted to say SE Senor. lol. But this is about exercise right..

So yesterday I did #23 and today I did the final #24. I was elated when I got my six week challenge trophy and my completed six week challenge in six weeks or less trophy. Then tonight I did my 15k steps in my garage. I can tell you I am so ready to go back to the gym for my steps because this walking around in circles in the garage is for the birds or well in my case the garage is for my car. I will be starting a new Six week Challenge probably on Monday. and will set it to hard level.  Hopefully my weigh and measure on Monday will have good results although with my vacation I am not so sure. I guess we will see Monday right?

well I am packing and trying to get ready for our trip tomorrow

I did a lot of working out today.. my arms are sore. lol. #21 I wish I could just do all the rest of them today but I cant. So my wii will come with me. I will probably weigh and measure tomorrow morning since I will be on the road on monday. So look for that tomorrow early in the morning. Everything is going great. I love the progress I am making and feel proud that I have stuck with it.

Any how I have to get off here and finish packing.

wow I am so tired.

I have been all over the place today and yesterday. Just getting done with the kids school partys and getting ready for our trip. Tomorrow is my EA Sports Active More Workouts  #21 wahooo.... So at this very moment I have 4 workouts left in my six week challenge. My body has changed leaps and bounds since I started this journey. Like I have said before I am going to start another six week challenge when I get back from my trip.
Should only be gone a week.  I am excited to to see my final weigh in which I might do on the 15th. I don't want to change my weigh in day just because I finish my six week challenge. I will also measure on that Monday too.
Partly because I don't want to take my scale and measuring tape with me on a trip. The OCD side of me wants to take it. lol.  I bought myself a cheese stuffed crust pizza a few days ago and put it in my freezer, but decided I didn't need it or want it. I did have some ice cream though but didn't finish the bowl I dished up. I ate what I wanted out of it then threw the rest away. I know wasteful but I didn't want to eat it out of guilt. I did stay away from all the party foods at the kids school, most of them are easy to stay away from because well I hate marsh-mellows and gummy candy and hard candy. Do people know what that stuff is made out of. Well if you don't consider yourself lucky or unlucky lol. I like chocolate and cakes without icing. I don't care for cookies either.
One mom even brought really expensive cupcakes from "The Cupcakery" red velvet cupcakes but I refused to eat them. Ever notice how people are try to get you to eat junk food when you tell them your trying to lose weight? Oh come on just one won't hurt you. And why is that? hmmmmmm . No it wasn't one cupcake that lead me to be where I am today. It was too much of everything, it was eating things when I really didn't want it.
But the whole point is I ate what I wanted and didn't over eat. I didn't give in to people telling me oh just have one of this or one of that. Do I need to carry a cross to keep these food pushers away.
Back away evil junk food demons lol...

So on my GoWear Fit, I am so in love with it. Its so easy to wear and I love hearing it beep when I hit my goals. Just a chirping reminder that I am doing good things for my body.

#19

I woke up this morning even more swollen then yesterday. my face is so puffy that I can see my cheeks if I look down (face cheeks not butt cheeks lol). My allergies are going crazy, burning nose, watery eyes same old crap. I hate having an allergy problem. This isn't the worst they have been, the worst they have been was several years ago my eyes were swollen shut. now that was freaky looking. well I couldnt see lol but I can imagine what everyone else saw.  So anyway I did my EA Sports Active More Workouts #19 of my six week challenge. not too too bad. I then followed that up with a lot of boxing. it was fun but my arms will be hurting tomorrow for sure. Then I went to my trusty garage and finished up my walking..  Now am done with my workouts for tonight. Thank God. I hope I wake up tomorrow and not be swollen. This is starting to get annoying.

weigh and measure

Ok so I did my measurements today. 1.75 inches lost this week. 1 inch in my abs, .5 inch in my hips and .25 inch on my left thigh (lol yeah only one thigh). I only lost 1 pound but I woke up and I am very very swollen. I suspect that I will drop a couple of pounds by tomorrow. I exercised a lot yesterday and I am sore everywhere.
I really got into my EA Sports Active More Workouts "Boxing" and "Step". I also completed workout #18, 6 more left in the six week challenge. So I decided to copy and paste my read out for my GoWear Fit. So here it is. You can see that the calorie burn for me yesterday was 3878! I didn't stop moving all day.. and I did 16306 steps.  So I will go for now today. I may be back today but I will be back for sure tomorrow. I will probably weigh and measure again tomorrow after all the swelling goes away it just wont be an "official" weigh in.
